Christian Light Algebra 1 Textbook
The Christian Light Algebra 1 Textbook works as one of four components to offer a complete Algebra 1 course! This Algebra 1 textbook teaches concepts in a spiral approach in small increments. Then, it continuously reviews and builds upon those concepts to help students retain and master the material.
Topically, students learn absolute value, variables, ratios and percentages, exponents, roots and radicals, polynomials, radicals, binomials, graphing, linear algebra, quadratic equations, probability, and much more!
Students can use the reference numbers after each direction line. These numbers indicate the lesson where the concept was previously taught. Additionally, “Math in History” notes throughout the textbook spark students’ interest and broaden their knowledge.
The textbook includes 10 units with a total of 160 lessons. Lessons 5,10, and 16 of every unit are quiz and test lessons, and include an optional enrichment activity. For some students approaching high school, algebra looms ahead as a fearful, threatening, and sadly misunderstood class.
