Parallelograms 1. Quadrilateral with 2 pairs of parallel sides 2. 2 pairs of opposite sides congruent 3. 2 pairs of opposite angles congruent 4. Diagonals bisect each other 5. Same side supplementary angles 6. *1 pair of opposite sides BOTH parallel and congruent.

Rectangle Definition: a parallelogram with 4 right angles and congruent diagonals. Has all the characteristics of a parallelogram PLUS 2 extras.

Rhombus Definition: a parallelogram with all sides congruent, perpendicular angle- bisecting diagonals. Has all the characteristics of a parallelogram PLUS 3 extras.

Square Definition: a parallelogram with all the characteristics of rectangles and rhombuses. Has all the characteristics of a parallelogram PLUS 5 extras.
